TIGER TIME !

Updated: Jan 27, 2022

TIGER TIME ! is a time trial challenge where riders do one, two, three, or four time trials, trying to beat a time-standard set by coach Roger Young. Known participants are listed in the time-standard table. New riders or others wishing to participate only need to contact Roger at youngstraining@gmail.com to be included in the challenge. For each distance a valuable prize will be awarded to each rider achieving the time-standard set by the coach. Details are included in the Tiger Time document. So: Tiger Up! and challenge yourself to Tiger Time!!!

It’s Tiger Time !

(time trials)

Solo: 10km

The Pair: 20 km

Tigers 3: 30k

TTTiger: 40km

You may do one, two, three, or all four – and receive a Valuable Prize for each distance you do within the time-standard I set for you. If you do NOT see your name below; let me know and I will include you to the time-standard table. Download the Tiger Time document (below) to see your time standards. [BTW: my abbreviation for minutes is ' ; so 14' = 14 minutes]

You may choose to post a power average instead of your time standard. You must include your FTP with each posting if you choose the power average option. Standards are: 10km FTPx115%, 20km FTPx110%, 30km FTPx105%, 40km FTPx100%

Add Jamie, Krystian, Peter, and Gonzolo to the list of 20km (done in Madison). Those 4 and Kevin, Melanie, Sarah, Mitch, John, Phil, Sam, and Luis all reached their time standards and were awarded their prizes.

Any team event averages the time standards of all teammates. Example: a team of four has three riders with a standard of 56 minutes and one rider whose standard is 60. Then the equation is (3x 56) + 60 / 4 = 57 minute-team time standard
