Roger's Cup

Updated: Apr 14

OK it's not the holy grail

It's ROGER'S CUP CHALLENGE

(AND LOOKS MORE LIKE THIS)

GOOD NEWS THERE'S MORE THAN ONE CUP SO....

(THIS BEHAVIOR IS NOT NECESSARY)

EVERYONE CAN WIN A CUP (OR 4)

From April 15 -30, 2024: If you get a PR on ANY Strava segment (during these last two weeks of Roger's Cup Challenge) take a screenshot of the PR as it appears in you Strava page, send the jpg of the screenshot to youngstraining@gmail.com *and you will win a cup!!

  • (if I do not see you personally; please include in your e-mail a shipping address)

  • Otherwise

Download the file (below) for rules and information

Roger's Cups are 8oz (1 cup)**. Besides their clear value as trophies (a standout on anyone's victory shelf!), they also can be used for measuring (a cup of anything), keeping small bike parts, a planter for sprouting seedlings. Why you can also drink from them! Dishwasher (but not microwave) safe you will certainly find your own good use for them.

** (a very few are actually 14 or 16oz but you'll notice when you are awarded them)

Luie has already won a cup!!! He went 200m in 11.27 - Track rule: age = 15-18 - National record = 10.29 so Luie's 11.27 is less than 10% inside the record; so he WINS!!!

He won a 2nd cup charging through a Kilometer in 1:09, an impressive time given the conditions and lack of any time trial gear.
